A catch-all mailbox receives messages sent to non-existent addresses under the very same domain name. For instance, a message sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can get emails from friends or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a typo or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at a certain moment you may start receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be re-sent to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Web Hosting

If you host a domain on our cloud hosting platform and you have a cloud web hosting account, you will be able to activate the catch-all functionality for any email mailbox that you create under the domain. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section comes with quite a lot of features, but it’s stunningly user-friendly, so configuring a catch-all mailbox takes only one click of the mouse. All the email addresses that you’ve created will be displayed in this section alphabetically and you’ll simply have to click on the "Catch-all" button pertaining to the concrete address. Our system will warn you if there’s already another catch-all mailbox enabled for that domain name or if the one that you’d like to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding enabled, so you can either turn off the latter feature or choose a different mailbox. Disabling the catch-all feature is just as simple and requires yet another click on the very same button.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You will be able to set up a catch-all email address with no more than a click in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated plan with our company and your email messages are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the email addresses that you set up with any domain name hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be enumerated in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small-size "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to activate this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the same fashion you will be able to remove the feature, if you no longer need it. Our system will warn you in case you are attempting to activate a 2nd catch-all address for a given domain name or if there is activated email forwarding, but it will never alter or disable any feature automatically and without your permission.
